  On the planet Lagash, circling around one of the stars of the six-component system, night comes once in 2049 years, when five of the six stars are located on one side of the planet, and the sixth closes the shadow, the size of the hemisphere of the planet, its moon. Civilization for one night, dies, because they go crazy. But what is the reason for the General insanity? Lagash astronomers watching the six stars of their system do not know what the rest of the universe is like (they are not aware of the presence of the moon) and cannot warn people about what awaits them.
